Ella + Brad // The Shearing Shed Cowes, Phillip Island
Some weddings just have the most incredible energy from start to finish and Ella and Brad’s day at The Shearing Shed in Cowes was exactly that. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be one of those days where everyone is just so genuinely happy to be there, the dance floor is full, and the love in the room is completely infectious.
Ella and Brad tied the knot at the stunning Shearing Shed in Cowes on Phillip Island, with celebrant Ebony Carver leading the most beautiful ceremony. Ella walked down the aisle to Bloom by The Paper Kites, honestly one of the most perfect ceremony songs – and their first dance to You and Me by Lifehouse had everyone in their feelings.
The details were absolutely gorgeous. Blondies Blooms created the most stunning florals, Sugar Theory did the cake, and Island Kombis provided the most fun transport around the island. Ella’s gown from Made with Love Bridal was just breathtaking, and the boys looked sharp in their Tarocash suits.
One of my favourite parts of the day was sneaking Ella and Brad away for sunset photos down to Pyramid Rock Lookout. Just the two of them, golden light, and the most relaxed and fun energy. Ella told me afterwards it was one of her favourite parts of the day too, which honestly made my whole heart happy.
Ella said this after receiving her sneak peeks, and I’m not going to lie, it made me a little emotional:
“OMG Kayla these are incredible!!! Honestly thank you so so much, you were just the best and we had the greatest time ever. You were fun and relaxed and up for anything! I had a few comments from the bridal party saying how great you were also.”
And this is exactly why I do what I do.
