Linley Estate Wedding
Emm + Tim are both teachers at the same school and they have been together since theyw ere at school themselves. To say everyone was looking forward to their wedding would be an understatement.
Emm describes their story: “We first met through friends at an underage music festival when we were 15 and then we would see each other at a friend’s place who would have parties everytime his parents would go away. We started seeing each other when we were 18 after Tim’s footy team had just won their grandfinal. I kept feeling something hit my back and realised that Tim had been throwing rocks at me trying to get my attention and my bag that was sitting next to me was full with rocks so he must have been trying for awhile. He finally asked me out on the last day of schoolies.
We got engaged in Park Guelle, Barcelona. We were living in the UK at the time and we had our friends, Jack and Shara come over to do some travelling with us. Tim had told our friend Jack about his plans to propose so the 2 guys were in on the big surprise, while Shara and I had no idea. We hiked up to the top of the park and had views over all of Barcelona when Tim whispered some sweet things to me and then got down on 1 knee. Meanwhile Jack was videoing, taking photos and crying! The 4 of us spent the rest of the night celebrating. It was pretty awesome!”
Some of their closest friends contributed their talents and there was even a special performance by one of their dear friends who they loved with in London for a little while that lead a salsa class ont the dancefloor. It sure got everyone up and partying!
