Tell me the story of how you met:
Luke and I met during high school at an 18th birthday party when we were both 17. He caught my eye and we started dancing on the dance floor. He told me he lived in the same town and he ended up coming home with me to my parents house. We were only 17! Then the next day for some reason he hung around the whole day.
How did you get engaged?
We were on holidays on the Gold Coast for my brothers wedding and decided to visit Noosa. Luke wanted to go for a walk in the national park. Mind you it was a 38 degree day, very hot. As we were walking, I was literally complaining the whole way. “Are we nearly at the top? When will we be there? It’s too hot!!!”.
We walked past a beautiful beach and he said let’s go down there. “I’m not going to stand on the beach in my clothes whilst everyone is in their swim suits” I replied, so we kept walking.
Luke promised he would make it up to me and it would be worth my while getting to the top. We got to the top and I was trying to take a photo/video. The view was amazing! As I turned around, there is Luke, down on one knee with this shiny thing in his hand. I didn’t even give him the chance to say anything! I just yelled YES!!
